Carinya staff and participants recently joined an open forum discussing the NDIS with opposition leader Mr Bill Shorten.

Keen to engage with recipients, he was joined by Donna Stoddart from Brotherhood of St Laurence, and Dylan Alcott current Australian Open Tennis Champion.

Many issues shared by the local audience were those that continue to be shared by Carinya Society to the NDIS.  We all hope Mr Shorten takes the feedback on board to improve the situation for all service users and organisations.

Our client committee representatives Caitlyn, Hayley and Mark were keen to join the forum and represent Carinya Society.
