We recently held the 2017 Annual General Members Meeting at Carinya Society.

The meeting heard an update presented by Mrs. Rosemary Freeman on behalf of the Board of Directors Chairperson, Mr. Colin McKenzie.   This was followed by the Treasurers Report which was presented by Mrs. Amanda Burgess.  This report highlighted the efforts the Carinya Board of Directors, Management and all the support staff have made to ensure the future sustainability of Carinya, particularly during times of significant change in Disability Service Provision.

As previously outlined, we farewelled three retiring Directors (Mr. John Hoffman, Mr Nino Galgano and Ms Sarah Thompson.)   Directors Mrs. Amanda Burgess, Mr. Michael Keehan and Mr. Lucas Galgano were all re-elected for another 3 year term. In addition our recently seconded positions on the Board Of Directors: Mrs. Tracey Bannan, Mrs. Sue Race and Mrs Carmelina Quatela were all appointed to Director positions.   

 The Board look forward to a New Year that is sure to have many challenges mixed with continued service developments.
