Transport Service
Carinya Society has a small fleet of vehicles that provide limited transport to and from home, on a fee for service basis, for some Carinya Participants who utilise various Carinya services on a regular basis. All vehicles are safety checked, regularly serviced and driven by qualified drivers. The vehicles are all fully air conditioned, fitted with seatbelts, first aid kits and fire extinguishers.
For those participants who require specialist transport in wheelchair accessible vehicles, Carinya also arranges for several regular accessible taxi runs to occur, so that participants are in taxi’s that utilise regular drivers to ensure participants are transported by a familiar face.
Both of these services are co-ordinated through the Carinya Administration Office.
