For me, the residents are like family. They are all very special people. We all have such a personal connection; it is far more than just a job to me. We celebrate birthdays and social occasions, we eat dinner together and we enjoy each other’s company. They are a really great group.

The Beretta family have had a long association with Carinya and the wonderful services they provide. An association that dates back to 1973 when my sister first started attending the centre at the age of 7. During the time she has attended the centre with the other clients, the staff actively assist clients to gain life skills to help them throughout their lives. The staff at Carinya work very hard to ensure that the clients develop life skills and the ability to express themselves. The staff at Carinya make sure that all clients reach their full potential and is such a happy place.
