“As soon as we walked into Carinya Society we got that feeling. It just felt right. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, all the participants seemed busy and happy. We just knew straight away, this was it. As our son can’t talk, we can only go by his expressions and his actions. Our son travels each day by Taxi to Carinya. He waits patiently by the door and as soon as he sees the taxi pull up he is out the front door and ready. We know that means he can’t wait to get there.”

“The Beretta family have had a long association with Carinya and the wonderful services they provide. An association that dates back to 1973 when my sister first started attending the centre at the age of 7. During the time she has attended the centre with the other clients, the staff actively assist clients to gain life skills to help them throughout their lives. The staff at Carinya work very hard to ensure that the clients develop life skills and the ability to express themselves.
